Yeah like Bennett has now seemed invisible. At least Brodie played well last night, that's encouraging.

Bennett was taking too many stupid penalties. Got bench and the coach probably told him to play a different game so right now he is playing no game.

He is the biggest disappointment considering so much expectation on him

Hmm. Considering this is a consistent trend over 5+ years with Brouwer, it's not a surprise. Brouwer is an anchor who needs a bonafide veteran two-way centre (Toews, Backstrom, Stastny) to thrive.

The solution is to put Brouwer on Backlund's line. Let Bennett play with a winger that at least somewhat drives play, like Frolik or Ferland or both.

Bennett, Monahan, Gaudreau, Brodie, Gio, Hamilton, didn't just forget how to hockey.

It's clear that either they are tuning Gulutzan out already or the "system" is severely hampering their ability to hockey.

Yea, Backs, Frolik, Stajan and Ferland are playing better under Gulutzan than Hartley, but our entire core is playing much worse.

I don't think firing Gulutzan now is the answer because Cameron will just be interm who is even worse, ride it out until the end of the year if this continues. I have to believe our core turns it around because they're all too good to play this badly for an entire 82 game schedule. But at least when Toronto was sucking last year they lost because their roster was trash, they actually played really hard and good hockey; just had no talent.
