That's pretty much where I'm at.Also of note, despite the fact that the Q is the highest scoring of the CHL leagues, nobody on Fitz's team was at a point per game. Seems like the team is just completely devoid of talent. Hard to read anything into the stats until he's behind a competent team.
Playing behind a CHL team is already fairly dissimilar from playing behind an AHL/NHL team in terms of overall quality of team structure and defense. Playing behind a bad CHL team...well, it will be a different world for Fitzpatrick when he moves on.
Fitzpatrick has some tools and abilities that project well at higher levels, but it's all just a guess until you see how a goalie actually adapts and performs in that sort of game environment.
