Mostly they are a really old team not build to play a game every other 3 days
Also their best player went down injured early in the season, he's the engine of that team and probably more important to them than any one player should be and since then they have struggled mightily

Lots of fouls and yellows in the match, but after missing the first PK, converting that second one proved to be enough. While it would have been interesting to see all four teams potentially finish with 8 points, the last round of matches will be meaningful still.

Köln snagged it on the restart and are now just a point behind Partizan & Nizza heading into the final gameday.

Things are very straightforward for the BuLi in this comp, Köln must win to advance, any other result and their european campaign is done.

Nice is much better team, but it's a home game, so Köln should have a chance. With Baumgart, they have won games before which they had no business in winning.

Gent beat Molde 4-0 and join Djurgårdens in the KO stage. Good result in the end after a pretty lousy group stage.
Molde are pretty bad, I noticed they are the runaway champions in Norway with 18 point lead over Bodø/Glimt, not sure how that happened.

Anderlecht play Silkeborg next with a chance to make it 4-for-4 in terms of Belgian teams surviving the group stages in Europa after Brugge, Union SG and now Gent. They do need a win in Denmark though.

One of the best matches I've seen from Yari Verschaeren for a while. Willing to take opponents 1-on-1 and then getting past them. Also assisted the winning goal. Not convincing win for Anderlecht by any means, at times towards the end you couldn't tell that they were a man up on the pitch.
