England were worthy winners and it was fantastic to see such positivity and excitement around the women’s game. The atmosphere throughout the tournament has been the polar opposite of the mens England games in the Euros.

The English media have been predictably insufferable this morning, but I can’t say that I’m annoyed at them winning it. Well deserved.
