I actually watch CHL games tho.. but if you think he's an "untouchable" lvl prospect i won't take that hope away from you, believe what you want.

I didn’t say untouchable, I said nearly untouchable. They’re different things. Nearly untouchable means if someone comes calling with a 2nd round pick or an average third liner you tell them where to go and precisely what route to get there.

Samorukov only moves in a slam dunk deal or as a part of a deal to get something really significant.

Samorukov and untouchable don't go together.. for example Bear was a much better prospect coming out of juniors..

If you think this means anything you haven't been paying attention to the CHL for long enough.

Been paying attention longer then you . Of course it means nothing until they do it in the NHL . But it is a good way to track a prospect progress .

Bear for Raddysh could make sense.
I think both will be NHLers.
I like Bear a lot but our AHL team is looking....very defense heavy starting next year.
LHD: Jones, Samorukov, Lagesson
RHD: Bouchard, Jones, Berglund, Persson, Bear

And thats just the prospects. Lowe and Day have been great for us and would be good to keep around down there.

I think the Oilers need to see if they believe Bear is NHL ready for this year and good enough to improve the team, if not a trade for a guy like Raddysh who could possibly play in the NHL next year would make tons of sense.

I totally agree. Raddysh was one of the targets I listed earlier in the thread.

That said, I am not entirely sold on Raddysh. Bears point pace is extremely close to Raddysh's but Bear is 8 months older.

I think Raddysh will end up being a solid 3rd liner.
