Are Wright's numbers for the NHL or AHL?

He had a hot start in the AHL with 4g on 5 shots in his first 3 games, but predictably cooled off. After only 2g 11p in his last 29 AHL games, 15g 39p in 74gp in the AHL would be solid progression. That sort of production in the NHL would be a huge jump. His NHLe from his AHL suggests a ~15 point 82 game pace for Wright... I don't see him tripling his scoring pace.

Being a Sens fan, I was curious.... LOL

Top 10 Sens total 199 goals, Tarasenko was not on the team, he was still with NYR and added 27G.

Last year, Ottawa had 261GF. So , according to ESPN, it appears that Ottawa will be pretty underwhelming this year.

So you get 200 from the top 10,
can the next 10 not get 61 or more , from Kubalik, Tarasenko and other 8 players?

Bottom scorers are all fringe guys getting under 5. Kubalik was 18, which was reasonable.

Odd ones were Batherson with 51 points, Sanderson with 16, Pinto with 21, and Giroux with 44. Last year those guys combined for 208 points. So down 76 points.

They did have Norris with 30 goals, so that was a bit higher than I would expect. Chychrun was at 61 points and that too was higher than I would guess at.

If Kubalik and Tank get you 40 goals, that leaves about 20 from 8 guys needed to match previous year. Seems doable.
Not to mention they have Giroux and Sanderson getting a total of 18 goal’s between them.

I would just want to be on positive side of goal differential.

Sorry, I was not clear. Kubalik was in the top 10, Tarasenko was not.

I guess the thing I noticed was the bad #s for the 4 I mentioned.

ESPN has the Flames somehow getting relegated next season.

Huberdeau: 59 points
Kadri: 36 points
Mangiapane: 33 points
Backlund: 25 points…
Weegar: 22 points
Tanev: 9 points

And the 29th out of 32 ranked goaltending league wide amongst all teams. Good on Hanifin and Andersson having their best years yet somehow through all that.

Huberdeau's point totals don't look out of place, honestly.

Yeah Hughes is a head scratcher.
If the Canuck centers are going to have great years Hughes will be a big part of it. I mean they don’t have many D who can pass the puck.
I mean there just doesn’t seem like a lot of thought went into how different players on the same team affect others.
Not that any of it matters much anyways.

After seeing their list I'm convinced they just asked ChatGPT to spit out some numbers

Pretty good list overall to be honest. I skimmed through the first 100 or so names and nothing jumped out at me as ridiculous. A lot of safe choices maybe, but better than having many completely outlandish predictions.

From OP, Marchand at 46 and Huberdeau as low as last year seem flawed to me, but didn't see the exact gp prediction for both. Rest looks kinda ~ok
