One of the most amazing seasons in NHL history, IMO, is the year where Bure scored 59 goals, 33 assists, and the next-leading scorer on his team had 14 goals, 37 points.

I don't or didn't want to turn this into a Bure conversation, but he is my favorite non-Flyer of all time. The reason I would love to see him in today's era is because of the two line pass rule and 3 on 3 overtime. I really don't think he would be able to be stopped 3 v 3. I consider Bergeron, Kopitar, and Coots the three best defensive forwards today and they would be simply outmatched. Only Fedorov could really keep up with him skating wise, and in my opinion he was still a better skater, and not by a little either. He made Lindstrom look like Meatshield and Borque look like Luke Schenn at times.
