People thinking Graves is gonna sit need not worry because Jared is goin to sit Z. No reason to have Cole return unless.....nah...im good with Cole never returning. Anyways, i hope Grub gets the start in one of these weekend games. Hes earned it after his last shutout win. Cant have homie sit out another month after guy got a shutout his last start.

I'm not super thrilled about playing Nemeth and Cole together either.

One defensive "stay at home - PK killer specialist" type of player is usually enough / team otherwise the offensive game may suffer.

I believe both Nemeth and Cole has tried doing too much historically, not in all games but it some. They should focus on what they do best. I love Coles physical play, hitting etc (fun watching) but I would prefer a more strict disciplined defensive mindset because right now it's all about winning, not becoming fan favorites.

Pretty sure they are getting back to playing Cole with Barrie and Nemeth with Zad. Because that worked so well before Wilson knocked Cole out cold.

Everyone who plays with Nemeth looks like shit. Except Barberio for some reason.

Girard, Zadorov, Barrie all looked like garbage with him, both statistically and with the eye test. By contrast, Graves has held his own with Barrie and Cole shouldn't see second pairing minutes IMO.

So with Cole back we scratch Dries, roll with 11 F and 7 D, and double shift MacK occasionally with Wilson and Ghetto on the 4th line (that was the setup that scored the first goal on Wed.)
