Wow what a game, just for pure entertainment that Arsenal/LC was good. Though Arsenal were the better team and deserved the win IMO.
But even with the win, I have to go back to Atkinson's refereeing was just simply atrocious today. One of the top 3 worst refs in all of the UK at the current time. It wasn't even Vardy THROWING himself into Monreal to get the penatly, which was a horrible call, but he doesn't even call the effin foul on Oezil on the other end of the pitch, which was one. If he called that, there would have never been Vardy's joke of a penatly to begin with, leading to two wrong calls. Then to make up for it, he has to give the red to Simpson on a foul which was easily a free kick instead of a card. Just extremely poor officiating from him.
Ramsey was atrocious today, by far the worst player on the pitch from either side he was that bad. Also the finishing sucked, I don't think Giroud was bad per say (he was the opposite), but should have scored at least one from all those headers IMO. Lost a lot of respect for Mahrez from that dive, that was Ashley Young bad.
And seriously **** Man City, couldn't keep it at a draw. Remember Liverpool fans, some of you blokes were saying Balotelli > Welbeck at the same price type of nonsense. I love Welbeck, been a quality signing, even if he's been quite injured lately. Actually for the Wenger fanboys, Welbeck wasn't injured for his whole lifetime at Man United, comes to Arsenal, gets two hardcore injuries the last two seasons, and then suffers a setback.
The richest clubs have definitely gotten worse in the past few years regardless of the improving talent on midtable teams. Part of that has to do with wasteful spending, part of it runs much deeper in the football culture.
Can't believe this, but I am in agreement with you.
Arsenal doesn't spend, Man United sucks at it, same likewise with City, Chelsea put all their chips on one player who wasn't going to move, and Liverpool's transfer committee is the dumbest thing you can do in sports. Only team who has been quite successful the last couple years for transfers has been Tottenham and they're still a Europa club.
