Shipachev could play on a line as a LW with Plekanec-Gallagher or a line with Galchenyuk-Radulov

Would he be looking for a similar salary as Radulov or maybe slightly lower? I'm not sure how we could afford him.
Emelin's NTC ended today, so he's open for trade.
DD can be traded or waived.
Plus trade Andrighetto(+) for Cam Fowler.
Pick one or 2 or 3 of our plethora of bottom 6 scrubs to move to make room.
Getting Shipachev should be a priority.
Play him 3rd C his first year then move him up if he works out.

Imagine...

2016/17:
Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Shaw - Plekanec - Gallagher
Lehkonen - Shipachev - McCarron
Carr - Mitchell - Byron
Danault

Fowler - Weber
Beaulieu - Petry
Markov - Pateryn
Barberio

Price
Montoya

2017/18:
Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Radulov
Shaw - Shipachev - Gallagher
Lehkonen - McCarron - Reway
Carr - Mitchell - Hudon
Danault

Fowler - Weber
Sergachev - Petry
Beaulieu - Pateryn

Price

If shipachev and Radulov are the real deal, that should be a top 6 that is top five in the league :amazed:

you guys never saw Schipachov.

I'm shy to watch him in SKA.Never like him.Semin style.A lot of class,no doubt, but hardly to
traslate to NHL.Never visible in the important moments. Not a play-off performer.Inflated stats playing in the best KHL team.

The real deal is Radulov.Radulov is like a kind of 80%Ovechkhin.The main problem is actitud
and the relationship with Therrien.Hard,is gonna be very hard, but as a player Radulov is
one thounsand times better than Schip.

Take note of this guy : Shumakov, the young star of Sibir.the next Tarasenko.

Wasnt Shipachev the best player in the world championship?
If he leveled up his game for the wc, I dont see why he wouldnt for the playoffs

If we sign him that makes Plekanec tradable to a team like St.Louis. Maybe Plekanec+ for Steen? Or a top 6 winger that is responsible defensively.

I saw him at the World Championships and he looked pretty good. Didn't look like Semin. (Semin's issue was that he can't skate).

I saw him with SKA and he didn't look like that either, 21 points in 22 playoff games in 2015... 16 points in 15 playoff games this year. Seems he plays in the playoffs too.

Also scored 59 points in 54 games one year; and 51 points in 54 games with Severstal Cherepovets in 2012 and 2013 before joining SKA, so I'm missing how his numbers are inflated by SKA.

Back to Schipachev....

If the Habs could find a way to ship out Desharnais and sign Shipachev to play in the 3 hole, it would be ideal.

Some of these lineups seem pretty potent, but I would imagine that we would lose some of these defensemen in the Las Vegas expansion draft. I think that we don't need to protect Radulov, but are we really going to protect only 4 forwards in order to keep Fowler, Weber, Petry and Beaulieu?

"Bull***" officially backed up, lol.

There's a difference between disliking someone, and disliking playing against them.

For example, I bet Emelin dislikes Lucic, but loves playing against him.

Marchand hates Pleks because he's a pest, not necessarily because of his 2-way play.
