I don’t think we need to be strict here I think everyone has a life and it’s slow in the summer. I’ll give him a little while longer.

What’s the point of a clock if we aren’t even going to enforce it?

The first few picks matter more... we already have a guy who probly wont make a single pick so would have been nice if Canucks did. Shame cause this is a really cool draft with all the 2015 RFAs and it has no McDavid. Like, I doubt if we did this next summer it would be as interesting.

I will auto paulbisonette because he’s definitely not picking. I gave people some leeway but will be as strict as I can be now.

Maybe do ome digging to find replacements?

Sorry for missing my first few selections, squad. I'm glad the commish decided to err on the side of patience as I have been super busy with shift work this week. I'll try my best to be around for the remainder of this cool draft. Happy Friday, y'all!

Joey gave me a list but it ran out and he’s within the rules here. He said he works remotely and can’t check during the day but will be on at night

Ok so @Vancouver Canucks has been on recently and there's no way he hasn't seen the multiple tags and DMs so I'm just going to auto auto him from now on.

Thomas Chabot - Charlie McAvoy
Jakob Chychrun - Henri Jokiharju

Really like the balance here, with two PP specialists and two all-around defenders. Good mix of PP and PK skills as well as some size. All are fantastic skaters, too. They've all got the two things I value most in players - skating and hockey sense.

- Deep forward group filled with strong two-way forwards; with each line centered by a recent top-10 pick.

- Entire D core is 6'2+ defenders that will wear you down, but are also perfectly capable of moving the puck with a mix of offensive and defensive minded D

- One of the best goalie tandems with a young NHLer and a top-5 goalie prospect

Winterfell Wolves

Robert Thomas - Mat Barzal - Travis Konecny
Morgan Frost - Nick Schmaltz - Drake Batherson
Maxime Comtois - Cody Glass - Martin Kaut
Warren Foegele - Rasmus Kupari - Isac Lundestrom

Quinn Hughes - Cale Makar
Dennis Cholowski - Philippe Myers
Rasmus Sandin - Cal Foote

Carter Hart
Sam Montenbault

- Only team with a name.
- The only good goalie.
- Went young but I think I have most of the best prospects with some great more experienced guys in the key roles.
- Hughes-Makar would be a badass pairing. I think they have a higher ceiling than LT’s Chabot-McAvoy pairing.

Kasperi Kapanen - Brayden Point - Clayton Keller
Kevin Fiala - Gabe Vilardi - Nick Suzuki
Jason Robertson - Sam Steel - Brendan Perlini
Carl Grundstrom - Jesper Boqvist - Alex Nylander

Thomas Chabot - Charlie McAvoy
Jakob Chychrun - Adam Boqvist
Nicolas Beaudin - Henri Jokiharju

Ilya Samsonov
Filip Gustavsson

The forwards provide a strong mix of skill, speed, size, and defensive ability. The first line can skate through you or beat you with skill; the second line has a good mix of everything; the third will wear you down with their grinding ability; and the fourth is all Swedes and who doesn't love that.

The defense and goaltending are the real strengths of this team. This might well be the fastest skating, most skilled defense in the game - every single defender can skate well, control breakouts, drive offense, and still be reliable defensively. There's a wealth of options with every pairing being strong, so the opposition never gets a break. And if they do somehow get beat, good luck scoring on one of the best goaltending prospects in the game right now, a real Vaslievskiy 2.0.

Noah Dobson - Dante Fabbro

Resorted to using colour to make my roster seem sexier.

My D is far too young. Excluding Larsson, I think there is 10 games TOTAL of NHL experience. But that top forward line... and even the second line.. not many blue lines would be able to shut them down.

Thanks for organizing this guys. I had fun.

P.S. Someone should enter our teams into a simulator and sim a tournament.
