Toni Koivisto? Seriously? Jyri Marttinen? And if we're taking someone like Mankinen, why not Miro Aaltonen while we're at it?

Erkka said they took one player from every sm-liiga team so not many players to chose from.

and where is hartikanen, petrell, nokelainen and vitolouma.

btw, I HATE NIKLAS PERSSON.

Sweden has made some changes. Johan Backlund, Daniel Rahimi, Oscar Möller out. Linus Ullmark, Mario Kempe, Viktor Arvidsson in.

København/Skellefteå
I was thinking the same thing. He has been named to the national team several times, but I think he has yet to play a game. It can't just be coincidence, can it?
He has been named once before...?

Coincidence is a *****. Most Skellefteåplayers are either injured right before a tournament or in one of its first games. Been a curse since the 2010 WC when Ericsson was supposed to play with his brother for the first time and ended up injuring his knee on his first shift. I'd be (un)happy to recount them all if you'd like, it's a pretty crazy track record.

Arvidsson!
I wonder if they'll use him the same way Skellefteå did in the playoffs?

Kuznetsov, what a ******. Sweden should have gotten a powerplay in the last minute when he picked up the puck.

Anyone know a stream for Finlands & Swedens game today?

MTV3 Max Sport 1 HD is broadcasting free (open without card). On my cable its channel 425. Should be open in Antenna also.

Thanks man i had no idea that Max sport is open now! How long does this channel stay open for everyone?

And i was hoping for a crappy quality stream with foreign commentator but no, i get to watch it in HD and the best part is that Mertaranta is the commentator. :D

Komarov scores the first goal for Finland in about half of the 1st period remaining.

Edit: First period is over Finland still leads Sweden 1 - 0.

Man there were many penalties..
