Laziness/rhyming/mispronounciation

Pulju - mispronounced as Puul - Pool
Jarvi - kind of sounds like party if you’ve been hit in the head by a brick

As you can probably tell I’m not a big fan of the nickname...

lmao, you must be blind to never have seen anyone on your board saying " Pulju is lazy and doesn't have a great work ethic".

We have a big fanbase, each fanbase has X percentage of mouth breathing idiots and sometimes people say stupid things ie ‘how bout Scherbak for Puljujarvi’. The big fanbases like ours just have proportionally more bad posters.

Joe Fan covered in cheetos and Mountain Dew has no insight into hard a player is working - this is the same fanbase that hated Jeff Petry and Devan Dubnyk.

Even if you think his effort is inconsistent - and I don’t - it’s quite the leap to call him toxic.
