Leafs don't do this unless you're dealing Kadri for top 4 help immediately. Drasaitl is just as good as Marner, it's a lateral trade for the leafs

Ya, i feel this way as well. Drai is an absolute beast...would love to have him, but i wouldn't deal Marner. Also, without knowing what Marner's contract looks like...Oilers can't take the risk.

More money for a shorter term as well. 5 years/10.5-11 is my guess
