Spooner definitely plays better with someone driving, he might fit great on Draisaitl or McDavid's wing. There's no one on our roster than fits that bill for him so he stuck out like a sore thumb here

He can be a decent top 6 foward IMO in a more offensive setting. Just a bad fit under Quinn.

Lateral move but Spooner has more offensive upside than Strome. He did put 16 in 20 games with the Rangers last year. Chia probably hope he can bounce back. Anyway, can’t do much worst than Strome this year

But he's quite possibly the most useless player in the league when he's not scoring.
