He was mocking how a Boston radio caller accurately pointed out on a radio show (assume Felger and Mazz but who knows) that the NHL has gotten soft.

This team is soft, no doubt about it. Say what you will about Chiarelli but he went out and got a lot of talent and TOUGHNESS. Sweeney is soft on the physicality aspect of the game he just IMO doesn't seem to appreciate that part of the game and isn't the best judge of forward talent.
