Brassard who? I don’t know him.
- Mats Zuccarello

They're good at frustrating the other team. We've got to make sure we stay calm and stick to what we do best.
They clog up the neutral zone. Try and frustrate you and not give you too much time.
We're going to try and do the same thing, but we have our game to focus on.
- Mika Zibanejad

I’m looking at their lineup and I’m trying to see if there’s something really that stands out that you can exploit and there is really nothing.
It’s balanced throughout the lineup. It was very effective against Boston.
I went through all the games, I went through all the scoring chances for and against.
It’s going to be a battle of will every shift.
- Alain Vigneault

I hate losing in the playoffs.
I really hate losing the playoffs to teams I feel like we should beat.

Bury them..

Very curious to see how AV counters the 1-3-1. Let's see how smart this coach actually is. Winning game 1 here would be huge (hot take), but mostly because all bets are off for the mid-afternoon game 2 start. Win game 1, and we could easily leave Ottawa Saturday with a 2-0 series lead.

The key for the Rangers in my mind is to continuously find ways to get behind Ottawa's defense. The Rangers need to take advantage of their speed and capitalize on retrieving pucks and not force the puck through the neutral zone. The benefit of this series is that Anderson doesn't seem to play the puck nearly as well as Price.

I believe that you and many others here think AV is a moron, so he probably won't handle it.

Fees like it's been forever since we last played

Not sure I like these long breaks.

2 days off is fine. 4 days of no playoff hockey? That's a bit much

Hope we come out and play with passion like we did Games 4 & 6

Getting 1st goal would be awfully nice and get Sens to peak a bit more out of their trap

Need to split one of these two at Canadian Tire. I believe we will. Hoping it's first game so that 2nd game on Saturday is us playing with house money.

Let's do this!!

Hoping the Rangers stick with their aggressive road game and dont get "trapped" into playing into a dump and chase game.

I know the focus will be to get the puck into Karlssons corner and to make his life difficult but you have to be careful. Continually giving the best skater on the ice the puck is playing with fire. The guy is animale right now.

We have scored 14 goals and our leading scorer has 4 points.

They have scored 15 goals and their leading scorer has 8 points. Shut down Brassard and Karlsson and you win the series. Don't shut them down and you lose. There is no in between.

Boucher will do his best to slow down the Rangers through the neutral zone so they cant get a forecheck going. Hoping that the refs will call the obvious infractions of interference and dont let the Sens get away with it. Hopefully AV and the Rangers get in the their ear about early
