Just keep pushing. That's how you beat the Caps it seems. Move the puck, skate quickly and pressure them. They are under way more pressure and likely to cough it up.

We've got speed and scoring potential.

It'd be nice if the Leafs could get over their Kadri bias, but oh well. I mean what was that attempt to nullify our second goal? Kadri can't even be in the offensive zone now?

That whole sequence around the Washington goal was infuriating: First, they called back a goal on the Leafs when Kadri did not even touch Holtby, an embarrassingly bad call (likely made on reputation, as we've seen dozens of times this year) fortunately reversed by replay. Then, as if the ref was angry about the Leafs goal counting, Boyle getting a marginal interference call which turns into a two man advantage and a Capitals goal. Washington had 1 even strength chance. One. And yet somehow they ended up with one more PP than us. We deserve the lead. A great period by the Leafs. But... remember the Oilers dominated the 1st against the Sharks last night. They lost in OT. The Capitals team we saw that period is not the one that we'll be facing the rest of the series.

Caps looked so shaky and anxious in the first, do expect them to come out flying now once nerves settle.

That said im confident leafs can answer and then some :)

Kappy looks playoff mode. Hope he gets a breakaway pass or two :)
