There’s always that one guy. Let me rephrase, Frederic has barely played center this season. He took 72 faceoffs in 79 games. Less than 1 per game played. His FO% was 33%. Frederic at center tonight sounds like a fantastic idea

Frederic had 16 games at center this year and his lines averaged 74% xGF. They were dominant despite the low FO%. His career FO average is around 44%, fwiw. Regardless, he was a C in junior, college and Providence.

I'd have no issue playing him at C in the playoffs, but especially since it's the only way to get the Czechmates back together.
