Sick of hearing about Kadri. Who the hell is he? good player but leaf fans are making him sound like hes the next coming of Gordie Howe. He is a good player. that's it ! Bruins missed Marchand due to suspension and kept winning. last year in the playoffs they were missing most of the defense. no one kept whining about it.
The interesting part of this is that now Donato gets to get in the game and increases the offence for the Bruins.
Don't make excuses for the actions of the player. there is no justification for what he did. brought it on himself and now has to live with it.

Whether it’s Riley Nash or Ryan Donato that steps in for Wingles, the team will be better.

Have to assume Toronto comes out hard in the first. If it doesn’t go well for them, I can see them getting frustrated and quitting like in game 1.

The Leafs depth looks far less impressive without Kadri, and Bruins are healthier than at any point against the Leafs this year. But, we don’t play the games on paper.

Which side of the ledger do you fall? Losing Kadri is catastrophic? Or losing Kadri is galvanizing?

Losing the teams 30 goal scoring “shutdown centre” and one of the only physical players on the team is never a good thing.

Leafs (and viewers) will be better off without Kadri. Both teams will be compelled to play sideshow-free hockey.
And then, assuming the series is still going when kadri returns, he’ll probably be forced to avoid the garbage. Win-win.

No such thing as sideshow free hockey with Marchand playing. How many times will he kiss Komarov tonight? Tune in and find put

We've won missing Matthews...
We've won missing Rielly...
We've won missing Andersen...

But the HF experts have told me that this Kadri thing is like the apacolypse...we just can't survive it, and they can't be wrong.....can they?

Bruins fans getting cocky. Philly just proved that a team can respond after getting embarrassed, and this has been the theme all year for the Leafs.

Last time Boston beat them 4-1 they came back the next game and put up 7 goals against Anaheim. Not proud of how the team played at all but the most frustrating part about it is having a bunch of fans who never watch the team act like that one game is representative of the skill of the team and quality of the players.

Just you guys wait.

I was told Wednesday the series was over and the Leafs were moving on to round two.
Because some Leafs fans predicted that they'd win the series, the same way most fans do? You're going to get hung up on that?

Agreed. Leafs beat the Bruins without Matthews - we can't use a lack of Kadri as an excuse. And it was a horrible hit...he is the only one to blame.

All this talk of Kadri being in the box so much. He had 42 PIMs all season. The 17 PIMs in game 1 came from 2 penalties. He usual draws more penalties then he takes.

(some) People overestimate Kadri's importance to the team.

Good player... idiotic decisions at times. Earlier this year, he had 2 points in 20 games in a terrible slump that extended to the PP. The team did just fine as he took a vacation from scoring.

It's a chance to see what this roster looks like without him. And considering that his selfish contributions continue, might be an offseason decision to make.

It's time for the group called the "core" to step up and lead. Excited to see how they react.
