Montreal traded away their only game breaking player.

Rangers weathered the storm in the 1st on the road and dominated the rest of the game. The scorelines is generous for what was actually displayed out there.

Montreal is just a bang average team.

They're set on D and in goal but the offense is as pop-gun as it can get and Bergevin refused to address it. They're not going anywhere with this offense.

Absolutely, 100%, this. NYR's defence tonight was spectacular.

NYR's D gets a lot of **** and they deserved criticism for the 1st period but outside of that they were pretty spectacular. Like, suspiciously good.

Price was every bit as good as expected. Took a wicked and pretty much lucky goal to beat Price. Nonetheless those are probably gonna be the kind of goals that decide this series.
