I would freak the **** out if my eye was hit, tbh. I can't judge, you'd think I'd been shot in the eye if it happened to me.

Problem is, it's Lundqvist, he's a flopping whiner of the highest order. Boy who cried wolf, if you will.

My assumption is that he thought it was a Pens' stick and was trying to buy a major. A stick to the face would have garnered a mark. A stick to the eye would have garnered a very red eye and likely too blurry/painful to continue that soon.

I don't know that he's a top six guy, but he's a guy you can put out for randomly timed shifts with top six guys. The former is a 16 minute guy. The latter is a 12 minute guy who otherwise gets 8-9 minutes on a fourth line. There's a subtle difference.
