Great win and don’t want piss on our win...but I noticed that Pasta was hunched over right after the goal as though he got hurt during the celebration (or is playing hurt)....hope I’m wrong

-The top line was absolutely elite, completely shut down the Aho line and scored 2 goals.

-The 2nd line looked dangerous all game. DeBrusk is a bite snake bitten but Kase has certainly rejuvenated that line, Krejci played very well.

-I'm not sold on Ritchie on the 3rd line but they popped a goal in and had a few good chances.

-4th line got caved in a bit, wouldn't be opposed to trying Ritchie or Kuhlman there.

-PP is a mess and needs to be fixed.

-Not Rask's best game either but was solid in OT.

All in all a much, much improved effort from the round robin. Still things to work on but this was great to see.

First line: Took a while to get going, but obviously came through when we needed them to
2nd line: Best line all night. Kase was motoring, Krejci looked rejuvenated, Debrusk found himself in plenty of scoring chances...though flubbed them all. I'll take it as positive that he's at least getting to the right areas. Feet are working, just get the hands up to speed.
3rd line: Coyle looked great, Bjork had a decent game. I don't think I heard Ritchie's name all night though.
4th line: Joakim Nordstrom was a man on a mission. Saved our ass several times with defensive plays and shot blocks. Wagner and Kuraly were decent, but they are what they are, which is a 4th line. Carolina penned them in a few times, which necessitated Nordy bailing them out.

Defense was fine. Lauzon solid in his first playoff game. I like what I saw all around.

Rask wants the third goal back, and maybe the first, but he's earned some leeway over the years. not ready to call for Halak or anything.

That 2nd line was nuts today. Could have had 2-3 more goals if they cashed in. The nearly 93% SF% is amazing.

Ritchie was big on the 2nd goal...cmon

He also did a decent job along the boards, creating that wide open Bjork and Wagner look
