What CBC showed on the Bozak penalty on Nash

giphy.gif

This is some grade 8 propoganda. The slash came BEFORE this sequence. It was a soft call but lets at least play it honest.

Dermott is certainly one of the weaker defenders along with Zaitsev this series. Not sure what series you are watching.

Regardless, both would be a mis-match against the Bergeron line. That's what Cassidy could do, if there is a game 7.

Gardiner has been the worst D man in the series.

What does Marchand have against Marner?
Bruins have targeted Marner with headshots all series. Wingels, Schaller, Marchand x2.

Kadri got suspended 3 games for retaliating on the first one.
Hainsey got a penalty for standing up for him on the second one.
No penalty called to either team on the 3rd one.
Phantom call on the 4th one.

Marchand also drove Kapanen’s head into the boards game 2, I think.

Even strength shot attempts were 34-8 for the Bruins in the third period.
From Mirtle

That is what happens when half your team is tired as f*** killing penalties that shouldn’t be called in the first place.

They bent but didn’t break. I’m surprised Boston only scored 1 PP on six attempts including a 5 on 3. The refs gifted them the game on a silver platter and they failed to take advantage.

It was called only because of the broken stick and you jnow it.
That's how it's called nowadays. If you break someone's stick, you go.

The case for a bad penalty here is if he actually breaks it on his shot, not due to Bozak. As for holding on to it for too long... meh, couldn't care less. As long as he doesn't try to make a play with it.

I'm just reposting what CBC showed, people were asking for a .gif of it so I went back and made one. Nash skated away with what appeared to be an intact stick, holding the point of the break, slid is hands down when Kapanen skated near him, then threw his hands up in the air suggests that he knew it was broken and was waiting for an excuse to embellish.

This angle shows that Bozak hit the top of his stick, despite the break happening near the blade so it definitely had broke on the shot. The argument, however, can be made that Bozak caught Nash's hands but either way thats a weak call.

Zaitsev was absolutely garbage once again
Andersen looks like he's finally awake which is nice
Officiating was garbage once again, referees really need to be consistent with their calls. Super frustrating to watch penalties get called one way, but ignored the other way.
