There is only one stat that matters

Since New Year's Day the 'Bunch of Jerks' banked 62 points and have won 2 playoff series.

The Bruins banked 59 points and also have won 2 playoff series.

The Hurricanes are not a fluke and they have been playing must-win hockey for 4 months now.

They knocked off the Caps in the first round and that alone earns them respect. In the second round, they caught a rusty Islanders team that was forced by the NHL to play in Brooklyn instead of Uniondale.

This is a very dangerous opponent.

I hope so too. A guy (who I had never seen before) was sitting a couple of rows behind us a couple of games ago and yelling "Trade Pasta" and "Take the "A" off Bergeron". I said "Take your pink hat and get the F out of here"

Folks who get to go to the games are so lucky. I am a die hard fan, but have only made it to Boston for one game in my life. (Bruins win over the Pens) Loved the city while I was there.

When I lived in Alberta I would travel to Edmonton when the Bruins were in town. I got to watch Tim Thomas' first game in the NHL. I remember thinking, who in the heck is this guy!

Bruins in five, their just the better team and are getting great goaltending, Cassidy is doing a marvelous job behind the bench and with the Vets leading the way and the youngsters playing like season vets. I don't see the Canes slowing them down.

Carolina and San Jose are two of the only teams in the league that will probably take the possession game to the Bruins. Going to have to be more opportunistic than normal.

Game 2 is still up in the air for Saturday or Sunday

If San Jose wins Game 2 will be Saturday night at 8 PM as San Jose can host Game 1 on Friday.

If Colorado wins Game 2 will be Sunday at either 3PM or 8PM - NBC Sports has asked 30 Rock for Sunday primetime but no word yet. St Louis cannot play at home on Friday because of

Prices are out of control this year for the playoffs..and there has been no secondary market..I’m gonna have to sell way more regular season games than I normally do next season to try and recoup
