I am not a big Eberle fan but for a player at his level, five years at an AAV of $5.5 million seems reasonable.

Yeah I don't see how this is bad at all, he had an awesome playoffs, has chemistry with Barzal. Fills a need.

I only have a problem with this if they don’t still upgrade the wingers. I like that eberle has good chemistry with Barzal. It gives us options when play is stale and lines need to be moved around.

As always, I'm waiting to hear if he got any type of protection. If this is a Bailey deal part two, that's solid for the team because he can be moved later on if need be.
