Will this finally be the year someone sets a new goal scoring playoff record? I have a feeling it is going to happen soon.

Big IF, but if Boston and Pittsburgh meet in the ECF whomever won that series could have Guentzal/Crosby or Pastrnak/Marchand hunting down Gretzky. Or at least Coffey - to be the highest non Wayne or Mario named player in a single post-season.

He looked like such a whiny little ***** attacking Watson after the clean hit on Wheeler. I lost some respect for him there.

Good player though.

He just saw his captain get hit with what looked like a headshot (his helmet came off from the hit). I'll take the guy that will stick up for his captain every day of the week.

For Winnipeg, it is Scheifele. Buff is up there in my mind, but slightly behind the Jets best (sorry Wheels and Laine) player. He's made more great plays these playoffs than I can recall, he's stepped up physically and he's played a 200-foot game.

You can say most of that for Byfuglien too. With Buff, people see his big hits and personality and that overshadows everybody else. I think the praise for Buff is definitely warranted, and he may still with the Conn Smythe, but right now I'd put Scheife the Knife about half a percentage point ahead of him.
