The Canucks are making a run for the cup this year and we feel that Selanne and Koivu will help us more in our Cup run this season. Selanne and the Sedins should be massively destructive on our first line. Selanne could probably return to 40 goal form. Koivu will anchor our 2nd line with Pavol Demitra/Sergei Shirokov and Dustin Byfuglien and should be good for 50-60 pts.

I confirm this deal. I think this deal will help us out in the long run in becoming stanley cup contenders. We receive a 1st round pick as well as a former first round pick in Jim Obrien and Mike Fisher for a guy who just can't stay healthy. I think it's a good deal for us.
