So if Sakic calls him to tell him that he is willing to take the last offer that was on the table, Snow will jump up and take it. No questions asked...
Why would Sakic care if the agent is mad?
Sakic isn't going to trade Duchene just for the sake of trading him/re-building.
Duchene is a 25/26 year old Canadian Olympic level player. If they need to wait to get the right deal, they will wait. And they should.

Didn't realize Chiarelli was involved in this deal.
Two worst gm's to try and deal with each other.

How? Part of that last offer is now heading to Calgary.
What does Duchene have to lose? Sakic doesn't get his price Duchene walks at the end of next season. Sakic is under pressure here.
True, he's probably never going to have to deal with Pat Brisson or CAA again...
I don't think anything at all will come of this (it's posturing for his client) but you do want to have decent lines of communications with the agencies and their clients.
Yeah, the Avs have already had big issues with Newport, the agent that represents Barrie, and Ryan O'Reilly, so to potentially alienate another agency would be catastrophic at this point.
Brisson owes Sakic big time for signing Iginla to that brutal contract.
Best case scenario for Duchene and
the Avalanche?
Duchene gets his ass in gear next year and discretely ask Sakic for a trade. His value will go back to where it should be so the Avalanche can get something proper in return and Duchene can move on in life.
Win-win.
Pretty sure that Sakic never really wanted Hamonic anyway.
So swapping out Hamonic for the picks he got in return in that offer probably would just be fine for Sakic...
@LondonKendrick:
Duchene has 2 full seasons left.
There won't be any walking anywhere anytime soon...
Walking with a year left on your contract sounds unlikely
Of course he is pissed.
That last line is hilarious, though..
At a reduced price..
Yeah sure.
I am pretty certain that at this point Snow and the guy he really needs to keep happy right now (because he is also the agent of John Tavares) have way more of a problem with a deal not happening than Sakic does...
