What I really liked were his comments.
He said he wants to be here for 20 years, that he looks at the history of the team and it's great players of the past and he wants to be that.
For a local kid to come out and say that at such a young age, and to do this donation without having played a game yet, to me says a lot.
Seems like the kid is saying/doing all the right things. Looks like he has a good head on his shoulders and is serious about this opportunity.
Let's hope it translates on the ice and that he makes Yzerman regret this move for years.
