Don't try to talk your way out of it. Your boy got his ass kicked.

Fotiu rarely fought compared to other tough guys because most guys were afraid of him.

If you don't believe me read Dave Schultz' book. He was scared to death of Fotiu and wouldn't come near him. At least Wilson and Holmgren had enough guts to have Fotiu beat the crap out of them.

Naahh.....THIS is an ass kicking

Yeah, but he would need the "coke" to stay in that fight.

Bet if he were still alive you wouldn't say that to his face.

I had the chance to have a couple of beers with Bob 3 or 4 years ago, after an Oldtimers game. I asked him who he thought the toughest guy in the league was, and he said McGratton and Boogaard.

Probert was the first "heavyweight" I remember watching in the 80's, and he was a class act in person. Although fighting in hockey has evolved and the players have gotten bigger, I believe Probert (in his prime) could have gone toe to toe with anyone in today's NHL.

Dave Brown vs Donald Brashear

Gino Odjick vs Bob Probert

Link Gaetz vs Derek Boogaard

My God, there's a name I heven't heard in a long time. Dude was a pretty scary s.o.b. I remember.

Matt Barnaby vs Sean Avery

Barnaby would clean him. Would be funny, though.

I agree. I think Kordic wins also, but couldn't think of a better pairing for him against a current player. So back to you.... who would you pit Kordic against in a dream scrap (no Jay Miller or Bob Probert)?

Kordic v. Lucic would be interesting.

Surprising, since there's like eight years of overlap on their playing careers, and they both played in the East (or Wales) during almost half of those. Very similar type players.

Bob Probert and Rick Rypien.

Would put the phrase "Pound for Pound" on a whole new level of awesome.

Rypien wouldn't want any of Probie, that would be similar to Probie v Al Stewart. Rypien was a tough as nails but in Probie he is messing w a next level guy. Rypien w a guy like Todd Gill would have been awesome
