As a Ranger fan, I can say in complete honesty that I hope DiPietro busts.

Too late. He's already a good NHL starter and the backbone of your national team.

Anyway, I don't really wish failure on any prospect. The NHL needs as many flashy young offensive players as possible to make fans like me more entertained, so bring them all on.

I hope pretty much all the young prospects fail that don't belong to Detroit, Colorado, Toronto, the Rangers, Dallas, and New Jersey. That way those teams will continue to win Cups over the course of this CBA and the "small market" fans will continue to whine and complain about competitive balance even though there is a salary cap in place.

I know Ovechkin is probably going to have a great career, I just hope he doesn't I just can't stand Washington, and personally think PIT got hosed not getting the 1st pick overall. Just my opinion
