I've been talking about this guy since he played in the World Juniors. I couldn't believe he didn't get drafted. Happy to see him develop in Germany and now signing and NHL contract. Hopefully the Blackhawks gives him a good look. The kid has upside to be a productive player, especially on the powerplay where he's good on the half-wall. Good vision and hands, and decent passing qualities.

Glad to see him signed. Any Germans here who can give an idea of the type of player he'll be for next season? How many points can he get, does he PK, how good is he at faceoffs, etc?

I imagine the Hawks'll try trading Anisimov this offseason, and we have Victor Ejdsell who could be a good, cheap replacement at 3C, but if Kahun is good enough, that might change things a bit with our lineup.
