I thought it would be good for a 1st-round pick to have his own thread, even if we didn't draft him.

Haven't heard much about his ability to play in his own end, but he is undoubtedly a talent in his opponent's end. Interesting note: the Blues traded up from #29 to #25 to pick him.

Bokk’s contract ends next season in the SHL. We’ll see him in Charlotte in April.

Interestingly enough, Pronmon has an article up today where he re-ranked the 2018 draft class. Svech comes in right where he was in the draft. Bokk moves up a bit relative to his peers in the class:

Skating: 55

Physical Game: 40
Hockey Sense: 60

Then: Bokk left Germany for Sweden where he was a very good albeit not dominant player at the junior level. He dazzled with his elite skill and offensive instincts, but also drew concerns over his compete level.

Now: Bokk had a good but inconsistent season in the SHL, having some stretches where he was great and some stretches where his ice time was significantly cut.

Honestly I hope Bokk makes the team eventually just for his name. I use the "F" word a lot, but to be family friendly, I replaced the "F" word with "Faulk" at games. That's no longer going to work with Faulker gone. But Bokk is a solid replacement for the "F" word too. This could prove a solid acquisition for this reason.
