does 10+ mill in cap space equal trade deadline intrigue?

Homer was entertaining and reckless. Hextall is a smart and patient gm that has built this teams for years to come. With the extra cap space I'd expect the Flyers to trade for a cap dump with a year on his deal that can fill in the bottom six. Depending on injuries and where the Flyers are in the standings that is.

Here is a useless comment, but it is summer...

Once Toronto signs Nylander, the Flyers will have the 5th lowest salary in the league. And of those 5 lowest teams, 4 are from the Flyers division. Not sure what to make of that.

The Coyotes should be the third lowest except for the Hossa LTIR.

Oh my gosh, this is a riot! I have never seen this before. Jody was trying out for some ECHL teams and working at Walgreens...until Holmgren! It would be fun seeing this for many of Holmgren's contracts.
