He's hated by wRC+ but is loved by DRC+.

Best of luck to him.

Everyone in NY will be pissy because it isn't Machado, but I love this.

Good player who addresses needs in both sides of the ball.

Machado is a luxury. He does things offensively that the Yankees are already elite at.

People do nothing but bitch and moan about Stanton and then wanna burn another 300m on a RH power hitter.

Judge, Sanchez, Sevy, Torres, and Andujar are making couch change. That won't last forever.

Despite what everyone thinks, the Yankees don't just print magic Monopoly money. Yeah, they have it, but it's still real money that has to be actually spent. There's limits.

I talked to Mike Petriello, one of the smartest baseball guys out there, and even he didn't really know if LeMahieu could really hit or not. Now maybe he doesn't keep this pace up, but definitely will be at least in the middle of this and his Road splits as a Rockie.

That's what a lot of people don't get. Coors hurts you on the Road as much as it helps you at home. He was even more of a wildcard than your average Rockie because his underlying numbers were always really good on road despite the results. Always hit the ball with elite exit velocity and always put the bat on the ball, but smoked it into the ground a lot and had bad road numbers.

Definitely a good enough player to play everyday and hit at the top of the order.

Lemahieu may take home the AL batting title this year....
He's turned into the type of hitter you do NOT want to see in critical at-bats if you are facing down the Yankees.

Really? DJ won the batting title in 2016 and while he hit nearly. 400 at Coors he still hit over .300 on the road. The guy can flat out hit.

That was one season. Every other year but that year and this year, he’s been a below average hitter according to OPS+ and wRC+.

Lots of seasons with poor on base and power numbers that negated the higher average.
