well the pens beat a caps team twice that was better than the caps team that just won the cup, this caps team wasn't anybody's favorite to win the cup unlike the two teams in 2016 and 2017

people said the kings and hawks were better than the pens because they both beat a cup champ during their title runs, so can people finally admit the pens back to back title run was damn impressive? the best we've seen in at least 20 years?
