Then they played the Yankees on Sunday Night baseball, with Piazza/Leiter leading them to a season turning win and the team took off from there. Hopefully this game has the same effect.

No idea why they would add risk to an already poorly performing team by playing a goalie who has looked bad all season so far. Makes no sense.

Schneider has definitely outperformed Blackwood this season. He should be starting in a must win situation, at home, vs a top rival, and rested. This organization is lost. They can't even make the simple decisions.

I think we’re still on the alternate every game approach of late last season till one guy takes the crease and runs with it. Yes Cory has been less awful overall but that’s not enough to get me to care who plays. Blackwood was fine his last start though.
