That all he seems to care about is the scoreline shows how lost this season is. There is no accountability or expectations for actual strong performance game to game. If we won, great game. If we lost, either some "good effort" bullshit or "not good enough", whichever narrative he chooses to apply for the day.

imagine if Blackwood plays and gets hurt from too much workload. Then you can only play the goalie you didn’t trust to play in the game set up for him to play.

So... same old team..... just we evened out some of the poor luck breaks?

I wanted to skip the game until my die-hard in-laws came over and demanded that I turn on the game.

This team is unbearable to watch. They lucked into a win they didn't deserve. Blackwood had to stand on his head to get the W. I'm happy for Zajac and Coleman to get off the schneid. But Hall was not good again, Palmieri was invisible, and the defense look lost.

The Devils have finally "lost" Ken Daneyko.

Kenny D, the team's Baghdad Bob, finally had criticisms of Devils players tonight, speaking negatively of the defensive play of Nikita Gusev, Damon Severson, and Jesper Boqvist.

Daneyko even took a passive aggressive swipe at Coach Hynes at the start of the 3rd Period, with (paraphrasing) "Okay, you have a TWO goal lead with 20 minutes left, there's no reason for any defensemen to be pinching this period". I almost FELL off my couch!!!!!!!!!!

I lost track of how many times Blackwood bailed Severson out tonight, my abacus doesnt go that high.

And Subban solely because he selfishly tried a 193 foot empty-net goal attempt which was intercepted in the slot & almost led to the tying goal with about 20 seconds left.
