I don’t know what Mercer’s dad looks like, but given Dawson’s personality, this is what I picture, and I refuse to be told I’m wrong:

He sounds like an Irish hit man out of a movie. He’s got some accent. I remember him from last year’s dad’s trip.

I guess that’s the Newfie accent. Some of those guys don’t have a distinctive accent though.

I’d guess those territories were heavily inhabited by the Irish. Newfoundland is pretty much a straight shot from Ireland and directly parallel.

Weird that your picture says the word "images" instead of the picture appearing.

Once again, HFBoards is pissing me off.

I can actually see the avatars.

That you can't suggests something more is going on here.



I complained earlier about tweets not showing up and was explained away with a "well, Twitter has gone to sh*t" statement which I kind of agree with.

But now not being able to even post pictures without JUMPING THROUGH F---ING HOOPS?

Yeah...this site is getting a bit buggy.

Can the powers that be take a look at this mess and do another REAL (this time) Update?

to be fair, i do have an older computer and maybe the new 'upgrade' wont support mine now....

but really, im just sick of updates for the sake up updates (here or anywhere else) when there was nothing wrong to begin with....

I have a computer that has an i5-13600 CPU, 32 GB Memory, and a friggin' RTX 4090 video card.

Trust me, it's not your computer.

The site's messed up.

But I think I may have figured things out at what has happened.


Let me try something :

EDIT : Nevermind. I thought it was just the .png extension of the image but apparently NO images are showing up no matter what extension (.png, .jpg, etc.).

The Board is literally F'ED.

Mac 10.7.5, that’s Lion from 2012, how are you even getting on the web with that?

I’m having the same trouble. And I think it may be showing up on desktop, which I’m not on right now. But it isn’t on mobile for some reason.

Mine is 9 years old, though it wasn't hooked up for about 1.5 years at one point when I uhhh, had a love affair and moved her in, and let her keep her stuff where I have it set up.

I can't get used to a tablet. And I can type about 40-50 words per minute on a computer keyboard, where it's probably like 10-15 words a minute on a phone.

Yeah the clock stuff is the old OS and a certificate thing the pages need to open. I’ve been checking out Open Core Legacy Patcher which you can use 2009 and up Macs to run the newest Sonoma OS.

It’s a bit of a pain to install, works better with the newer SSDs instead the old spinning hard drives. I don’t want to lose my old Photoshop though, those f***ers went to a monthly subscription, you can’t outright own it anymore.
