I highly doubt Bratt's agent has the balls to string Fitz this year after what he's done the past couple of months and that's coming from someone who's been in the pay Bratt camp.

I thought Bratt had a bad game last night and then next thing you know he's got 2 assists. I don't know what the FO thinks of Bratt right now, but I'm guessing this postseason will color their perception of him and how comfortable they are about certain contracts for better or worse. I think Bratt's agent will be aggressive cause that's his MO and he's been preparing for this offseason for what 5 years? Bratt though might tell him he's ready to sign long term and that will be that.

I do think Fitz will trade him if he thinks it's the best thing for the organization though and I never would have thought that's be the case but it might be. I don't know if Bratt for DeBrincat makes sense or Necas or who but I can see that trade happening now whereas it seemed inconceivable really at the deadline.

I wouldn't call any of the top guys good thus far in the series. I hope that OT gets them going but the bar has gotten very low.

Mercer in particular looks shook and the opposite of carefree.

Maybe, maybe not. But he ended up with 2A, one primary in OT. And he had two of the best scoring chances, one leading to a PP.

Yet for all Dawson's struggles it was him and Nico providing the net front presence on the game-winning goal.

Can only expect the Devils to continue growing as the series goes.

Kreider, Kane, Zibenijad, Panarin, etc. are pretty much at their peak.

Seems promising.

Difference between 2-2 and 3-1 is massive so I think it's pretty close to a must win if we want to get past this team

Even getting the first goal will be massive as the Rags never trailed in the series so they'll start pressing instead of going into their stupid shell in front of Shesterkin which means more opportunities for Rags Defensive Breakdowns and more offensive opportunities for the Devils.

I can't imagine Timo, Mercer, Hischier and others stay invisible the entire series. There is a ceiling that hasn't been reached. That's good news for the Devils.

I'm all for being happy about the win but I get the sense that they are thinking they have some sort of formula all figured out.

Maybe they did on the PK but, other than that, I'm not sure the ideal strategy is to score one regulation goal again.

Outside of the OT goal, I still don't think they had many good looks 5 on 5. Maybe it's just the fact that they are due to break out a little but I'm still terrified about the lack of real offense.
