New Jersey is the typical underwhelming team that can beat the leafs right now. This tends to happen with the leafs. They play well, win a few games in a row, and some crappy team beats them. So we will see how it goes.

Show me statistical proof !

Edmonton has lost to Vancouver and Winnipeg this season, bad teams can beat good teams.

Not that the Devils are a bad team; their infusion of exciting young talent is faintly reminiscent of the Leafs of last year. We need to treat them with respect.

Still, the good thing about having depth is one guy doesn't have to do it all on his own. Matthews and Willy having a bad night? Maybe Marner and Jvr step up. They having a bad night too? Kadri. He can't hack it? Then back to Matthews.

I just don't see a defence comprised of Severson-Butcher-Greene-Lovejoy-Moore-Prout being able to withstand us. Unless Schneider is godly, I call 4-2 Leafs here.

FYI, neither Lovejoy or Prout are playing. Lovejoy only played last game because we played 7D. It's Greene, Severson, Moore, Mueller, Butcher, and Santini.
