yeah, Dave can be a little obnoxious sometimes. Last week when they did their trade episode he was giving Jeff grief for saying that Kulikov could get a second round pick, and he asked him sarcastically if he thought that Palmieri would get two firsts.

Much ado about nothing with regards to Nick Merkley being waived. Seems like most players being waived are clearing; freeing up moves.
they freak out about weird stuff sometimes. I mean Merkley is fine, but decent young players have been passing through waivers all season.

Just love to listen to the guys. They're the best by a million miles. But after listening to the newest episode today I feel like I wanna jump off a bridge.

They sound so broken. I have enjoyed their podcast work in the past about draft profiles. Its a shame they are going to cut down on this content due to their malaise about the current team.

I used to listen to this podcast religiously- partly because of a lack of this type of devils content. The podcast has gone way downhill this year with new episodes dropping less and less frequently. The last episode was horrible -don’t waste your time if you haven’t listened. The lead guy sounded like he was quitting

I realize the show is part shtick, but the Sergachev is a 6th defensemen line is off-base (and inaccurate). The way the Lightning employ their defense he is on the third pair - only because Ruta plays with Hedman and Cernak plays with McDonagh.
There are few defensemen in the league as good as those two and David Savard would be arguably the Devils second or third best defenseman at worst.
Sergachev would also be an instant upgrade.

Partial summary...they like Hughes for his skating and offensive potential, don't like his defense. Dave in particular doesn't care much for Clarke at all.
