Because the Blues were historically a Mega-Physical team that threw the Devils around like a ragdoll.

Jake is no longer with that team.

I have no problem with Zetterlund on the pp but he shouldn’t be a featured shooter. I don’t get the sense his shot is good enough for that. I’d sooner just keep Bratt/Hughes on opposite walls and trust them to make better decisions than they have been.

That's interesting to me. I don't see them as equivalent players in the same role. Bastian to me is a net front guy and Zetterlund is a distance shooter. I guess they want different looks depending upon what the defense shows them?

Things I'd like to see the team improve on:

Converting PP opportunities


Stop taking so many penalties... even if the PK has been good. The Devils dominate 5 on 5 and we don't want to spend less time 5 on 5 by killing penalties.

Yes , penalties will be key . Habs top line is very dangerous and their PP coild give us problems. Penalties have been disrupting our momemtum and flow of our game. Takes a few shifts to get going again if we do kill it off.

Is Slaf past the 9 game mark for games played? I assume he is and they will keep him up / burn a year on his ELC ?
