Before we go crazy, the PK looked fine. Hawks were gifted a 4 minutes of 6-4. I would prefer more drive to close out games.. Bring Back Maltsev?!

people have to realize this is a completely rebuilt and partly ad lib defense and played well. If there was a big mistake at the end it was Subban l o l.

I was pleased with Graves first game.

Once we get our 2nd pair up and running we will be able to ice a formidable group of 6... I'm super excited for that possiblity...I feel robbed we didn't get to see it tonight.

Overall the played well and the third period was probably their best. They have an awful, awful penalty kill and can’t defend down a man. That is going to be a killer this year. Why they brought back Nas is beyond me.

All the free agent signings were excellent. Johnsson with probably his best game as a Devil. Nico line looked dangerous. Jack Hughes SZN. W.

I gave my votes to Bernier who with just one game proved to be better than ANY Backup Goaltender we've had the past several years(LOL).
Of course, Hughes got my vote too.

But I also have to give another star to Andreas Johnsson mainly 'cause...well...he did something he rarely has done here : Score a goal! I was shocked! (pleasantly so)
