Also needs "Based Gibbons defends Lovejoy and Moore." although the Weird Anime Reference suits me as well.

Greene had his best game I’ve seen in a long time. Couple of nice set plays taking the puck from side to side behind the net, taking his time and making the right play in the last minute after faceoff wins.

Lots to like tonight. Bratt is indeed a gifted player. Seney is going to stick in the NHL. Severson looking like a difference maker. Kincaid deserved one of the three stars. Zacha very noticeable, much more aggressive and decisive than he was.

There’s a lot to like when you win against a strong and deep team like the Pens.

travis zajac renaissance. so happy he’s our longest tenured player. he’s akin to brett gardner in 2017 for me.

Travis is the man. He’s gotten so much crap through the years and I never understood it. He’s been nothing but a loyal soldier and done an admirable job up and down the lineup. For everything he’s brought to the table through the years, he’s easily one of the finest NJD ever in my book.

you can leave it at that, usually when we win, things are magnified :sarcasm:

Good win. Hopefully Hischer is back soon.

This team has too many passengers. Zacha, good game or not, does not deserve that spot if he can't put up points. He has to find a way to get pucks in the net or set up his linemates.

Johansson looks dreadful. I think everyone agrees there.

Miles Wood, training camp holdout, has 1 goal in 15 games.

Noesen looks bad.
Dea is back to looking like a player that got waived.

Nico will have to sit even if healthy so Dea and hopefully the returning Boyle can get their minutes.

So is it safe to say that MarJo is a black-hole-of-suck whenever he's on a line(any line)?

Or is this just a one-game sample size and that we shouldn't overreact?

BTW, Bratt is rounding into Unicorn Shape. :naughty:

I’m still pissed at the Crosby goal and overall the strict calls on the Devils and the lax calls on the Pens.

I missed Kessel jumping Seney, which ****ed Bratt / us out of a goal. Holy hell is this league a joke with the favoritism.

Glad they won. Not a fan of the sitting back in the third after they got the lead with their 3rd goal, and really not a fan of how Hynes leans on Greene so much when defending a lead. It's playing with fire.

Glad they got an empty netter.

Kinkaid is the number one right now, there should be no debate there. And he should start the next few games.

I still don't get why they didn't just do what they do in soccer and play the advantage rule. It was going to be a penalty on them, we had the puck.

can you elaborate? i missed out tonight. game stats had him with 0 sog so i assumed the worst

Solid defense, board work and helped set up a couple scoring chances including a goal. He had the tertiary assist and screen on the goal.

Loved Seney, Zacha and Zajac today. That Hall guy is okay too.

I've tried to remain neutral on the Schneider/Kinkaid argument for a while now but that time has come to an end. Kinkaid is the starter for this team, no question.

It was a penalty on Seney and a double penalty on Kessel so either team touching the puck left the play dead.

If zajac actually has some sort of renaissance this year and can hold the fort with hall and palmieri, that may finally at least help the second line center disaster with hischier there (assuming he isn't out long term). Still, one victory isn't enough to persuade me that this isn't still a complete shitshow

I'm debating Noesen over Johanssen too.
