Was thinking of maybe a bad contract with NTC coming back that might have blocked the trade from going through, but Avs dont even have anyone outside of Landeskog, Johnson and Kadri and obviously none of those guys would be part of the deal. Overall just weird situation.

I do think though that now its only a matter of time that guys like Blake, Palms and Vatanen will be gone.
