So did Bastian's 2 goal game yesterday sway anyone to think maybe he starts the year in NJ next season?

Too bad he missed as many games as he did, cause I would have liked more of a look then just the 7 games he played, but I think I may have seen enough to say he might be ready.

Funny that this guy was completely off the prospect radar to start the year.

You know he was one of the only players on Bingo that was a plus player which means he can play some D. He also generates a lot of shots on goal. He certainly showed more than Quenneville in his time with the big club.

In terms of 5v5 corsi against and shots against per 60 he was the best on the team.

Granted super short sample, but it is in line with a history and reputation of solid defensive play.
