You're probably right, but keep in mind that Brodeur's workload is much lighter this season, which could be what his aging body needs.

Edit: Of course, a goalie who needs to play limited minutes to look like a top 10 goalie really isn't one.

Ehhh I don't really like to call it luck because Cory was hot and on, and last I checked he also played for the Devils.

Our goalie outplayed everyone for the first two periods. We woke up in the third (I'd say the third period was even) and we came out strong in OT and won the game.

Also the last PP we had did look really good. Held the zone, had excellent movement, and we had good looks...BUT for some reason Henrique wouldn't shoot.

Also our PK deserves some credit too. Kings had quite a few PPs and outside of one, we never really let them set up, and when we did Cory was on top of his game.

Adam really ticked me off there by not pulling the trigger.

Just shoot the damn puck, Adam!!!

I have no clue what he was looking for there....

They replayed his best look when Scribbles (as Bleed calls him) fell down. He had a wide open look as the defense wasn't in position. His head was down looking at the puck. I hope they review the tape because he needs to know he needs to look towards the there. That could of been an easy goal.

Adam does a lot right, but it is clear he is still learning.

Hey, don't knock the McFlurry Minute! I won a free McFlurry at a Kings game because they scored in that minute one of the times I was there! I think it was against the Islanders, too, many years ago.

The last thing I wanna read is the ''Brodeur is a below average goaltender'' stuff from FMASC for the trillionth time.

The funny thing is that after he made the ''Devils should consider benching Brodeur'' thread in 2012, Marty played very good for the remainder of that year and into the playoffs.
