Add Pearson. Finding it difficult to compare Russo with 18 year olds...

Tyler Bertuzzi. His development has been top notch, 20 goal potential, and is about NHL ready.

Add Ehn.

and here we see just how lacking in depth the prospect pool currently is

#6 and already we're down to picking between someone that's a pretty safe bet to be a bottom 6 guy but has no real ceiling beyond that,a couple guys that might possibly at best be bottom pairing defensemen,a couple guys that were just recently drafted, and a few guys that are looking like outright busts

Bertuzzi here I guess

I actually voted for Lindstrom. I've been on the fence about him or Bert since we drafted him. Bertuzzi is way more ready and essentially a sure thing, but he's a bottom 6 winger and I just don't value that much.

I've been wanting to get excited about Lindstrom, I mean that's the highest pick Hakan has been given since we drafted Kronwall, and that's the last defenseman we drafted who has been a .5 ppg guy in the NHL.

But I was a little surprised Hakan said he thought the Danish kid we took has more upside. But he also said Lindstrom is like Jacob Larsson who is a solid prospect.

Definitely add Chase Pearson. Only had 2 less goals than Colin White and Brock Boeser last year, who were first rounders from his draft class.

I'm not going against the grain here; Bert it is.

Add Setkov and I'll start my against-the-grain-going.

Last year I voted for Hronek as the 5th prospect. I was voting for him all the way till prospect 13. Next round I will make my against the grain pick too

It is the highest pick since Dick Axelsson and remember the high praise from Hakan about him.

Went with Bert. At this point in the rankings I find it appropriate to take guys who are close to NHL ready, but do not project way up the roster. I could not find any obvious talents left to take over him at this point, although I gave Petruzzelli some thought.

He still needs to get stronger and continue to work on his skating, but I do see him as an effective bottom-six NHL forward.
